Our daily rhythm offers a structured yet flexible routine that balances education and play, ensuring holistic development for your child. Each day includes a variety of activities, from hands-on morning bins and circle time to independent learning centers and outdoor play, providing a seamless flow that keeps children engaged and excited. This dynamic approach allows for both structured learning and spontaneous exploration, fostering cognitive, social, and physical growth in a nurturing environment. A typical day at play school
9:00am
Arrival + Morning Bins
Children arrive and are greeted warmly, fostering a sense of security and belonging. They then engage with morning bins filled with hands-on activities like puzzles, building blocks, and sensory materials, which help them transition smoothly into the school day.
9:15am
Gather Together
We gather as a group for circle time, where we share stories, sing songs, and discuss the day's plans. This time promotes a sense of community, encourages communication skills, and sets a positive tone for the day.
9:45am
Centers + Small Group
Children explore various learning centers, such as art, science, dramatic play, and literacy to discover more about the unit of study. During this time, Ms. Kaleigh works one-on-one and in small groups supporting individualized learning goals, fostering both independent and collaborative learning experiences.
11:00am
Snack + Story + Closing
Children enjoy a nutritious snack to refuel their bodies. Afterward, we gather for a story that sparks imagination and reinforces literacy skills. We then reflect on the day's learning and experiences, fostering a sense of accomplishment and closure.

Outdoor exploration
We value outdoor play and will make every effort to get outside daily. Rain or shine, children head outside for active play and exploration! Our outdoor space provides opportunities for physical development, social interaction, and a deep connection with nature.

Pick Up
Parents arrive to pick up their children, concluding a day filled with learning, play, and growth.

Our curriculum uses thematic units to create a rich, integrated learning experience that fosters play, learning, and growth. Each unit begins with a "big question" that sparks curiosity and guides exploration.
